Tires is worth a visit throughout the year, but autumn offers special culinary delights! Apples and grapes are harvested in Aica di Fie'. The grapes are processed into delicious wine on farms and in wineries. Once the wine is half fermented (we call it the "sweet" wine), it is served at the renowned and very popular "Törggele" evenings. Törggelen looks back upon a long tradition in South Tyrol: Traditional guesthouses and farms offer traditional dishes, chestnuts and the sweet wine.

Tips for your autumn holiday:

• Fie' Farmhouse Path: this impressive hike leads past different farms and through a varied natural and cultural landscape introducing you to farming traditions.
• Hikes at medium altitude… the alpine huts stay open until November
• Visit to the Kastelruther Spatzen Festival (traditional, and internationally renowned band)
• Visit to a winery with wine tasting
• Culturonda Dolomythos... experiencing the Dolomites
