Augustin Abbey in Novacella

The Augustin Abbey is one of the most important convents in Tyrol. The majority of the building is open to the public: the baroque collegiate church with the renowned ceiling frescos by Matthäus Günther, the Medieval Stations of the Cross with frescos dating back to the 14^th and 15^th centuries, the library with its precious manuscript collection, and the Pinakothek with a remarkable collection of Gothic paintings (Friedrich Pacher, Marx Reichlich, Andreas Haller). The winery and the herbal garden are also open to the public.
