Restaurants in Tires al Catinaccio/Tiers am Rosengarten

Every year, at the end of September, the wine-tasting season, called Törggelezeit, starts. Our guests usually start a typical Törggel-day, by going for a walk in the warm autumn sun and eventually putting up at our farmer’s pub or the cellar to be served with our finest original South Tyrol specialities.
 

We serve barley soup, spinach ravioli in brown butter, topped with parmesan cheese and roasted lamb or liver sausages and black pudding with dumplings, sauerkraut, cabbage salad, apple fritters and fried chestnuts. During and after the meal we serve fresh and matured wine and fresh apple juice.

“We’re especially proud of our cuisine,” says Mr. Schroffengger on the first evening of your stay. And he’s right: unlimited delicacies in the morning and scrumptious temptations in the evening—that’s how I experienced my vacation.
