Hiking Tours

The long Duron Valley begins in the north-western part of the village Campitello in the Fassa Valley. At the middle of Duron Valley you find Micheluzzi Hut (1850 m). The tour is very long so we recommend taking a taxi up to the hut. From here you hike along a 500 m long, wide path to the L. Brach Hut (1856 m). After another 600 metres you reach Miravalle Hut (1880 m). Now you hike in a westerly direction on path no. 578 and cross vast meadows and ascend to Ciaregole Pass (2282 m). From the pass the path leads along the crest in a southerly direction and merges with path no. 580 above Plan de le Gialine. This path leads up to Dona Pass (1516 m) and on to Antermoia Hut (2599 m) and to the alpine Antermoia Lake (2495 m) at the bottom of the crags of the Croda del Lago crest (2806 m). From here there is a steep ascent to Antermoia Pass (2770 m) and then a slight decent to Grasleiten Pass (2600 m). This is where the long and rather steep descent (no. 1 and 3a) to Grasleiten Hut and down to the Tschamintal/Ciamin Valley starts. The final target is Tschaminschwaige in St. Zyprian/S. Cipriano at the entry of Ciamin Valley.
