The Sciliar Nature Park House is located at the entry to the Ciamin Valley in the village of Lavina Bianca. This information point is located in the former "Steger Säge" (Steger Sawmill), a rare example of a water-driven Venetian sawmill. The building has been renovated in recent years, and the sawmill is back in operation. Inside the building you can now admire the sawmill and the restored living area, evidence of alpine handcrafts and culture. A geological area representing and explaining the Sciliar Mountain in a lively way, has been newly conceived.

Opening times:
from 11.06.2013 - 05.10.2013
Tuesdays to Saturdays from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 2.30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Open on Sundays during the months of July and August.

Presentation of the Venetian sawmill:
on the opening days of the Nature Park House every Wednesday at 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 4.30 p.m.
