8 km
Altitude:
430 m
Panorama:

Difficulty:

Start:
Ciampedie
Ziel:
Ciampedie
Take the ski bus from Tiers/Tires to Vigo di Fassa and then the cable cars up to the high alpine plateau of Ciampedie (1997 m). From here you continue walking or take the chairlift down to the Vajolet Valley, to the actual starting point of this winter hike. After crossing the ski slope at the valley station of the chairlift you take the wide, usually groomed path up to Gardeccia Hut (1960 m) and from there to Vajolet Hut (2243 m), which can be reached within 1.5 hours. Once you've arrived, you are directly opposite the unique Vajolet Peaks (Winkler, Stabeler and Delago Peaks). In a northern direction to the right you see the imposing Kesselkogel/Catinaccio d'Antermoia Mountain. At 3002 m this is the highest mountain in the Rosengarten/Catinaccio Mountain Group. Across from the Vajolet Peaks you see the steep walls of the Scalieret Peaks to the right.
Return to Vigo di Fassa on the same path. Here you can take the ski bus back to Tiers/Tires. back
